1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m.
This session will discuss the criteria for active fall protection system anchorages. Topics will include the requirements for the strength, location, and compatibility with anchoring structures and the occupational health and safety laws that govern them. Several examples will be demonstrated where participants will see how strength, location, and compatibility of anchorage connectors affect the performance of a system. At the conclusion of this session, attendees will know what the legal requirements for anchorages are and how to identify acceptable and unacceptable anchorages in the field.
