This 10-hour OSHA training is intended to provide entry-level workers with the broad skills to recognize and prevent hazards in the workplace. Students will be introduced to safety and health principles and work practices covered in OSHA 29 CFR 1910. In addition to learning about safety and health hazards in the workplace, students will also learn about OSHA, employer responsibilities, and worker's rights. Topics include fall protection, electrical, hazardous communication, silica awareness, and PPE.

OSHA recommends training courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a wallet-sized, laminated Certification Card. A minimum of six students are required for each course.
