You’re invited to join MBAKS on Saturday, July 30th to volunteer with DESC at their North Star supportive housing building! We will be setting up apartments before residents move in in a rewarding day of decorating.

DESC provides the move-in kits which have things like bedding and sheets, kitchen supplies, mops, a shower curtain, towels, and other items many of the future residents do not have prior to moving in. You will be contributing to someone’s "happily ever after!"

Because DESC is a registered healthcare provider, all volunteers will need to sign a COVID vaccination attestation and wear a KN95 mask throughout the volunteer day.
