GIVING BACK

Our goal is to ensure every one of our neighbors has a happy, healthy place to call home. Together, let’s make our communities the best they can be.

Community Partners

Housing Hope

To ensure everyone has a happy home, members and staff get involved in regular team builds and fundraising events with Housing Hope. The Everett-based nonprofit offers opportunities for Snohomish County residents in need, including low-income housing, employment readiness, child development, and protection programs.

Community volunteer days and scheduled teambuilding events are available for companies of all sizes and for those with specialized skills or general labor (such as sweeping or raking).

Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center

In 2011, MBAKS members and Built Green joined the city of Bellevue, the Pacific Science Center, and other local leaders for the official ribbon cutting of Wet Lab II at the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue. The building currently serves as a hands-on educational center. MBAKS staff continue to give back with an annual park cleanup day.

Rebuilding Together Seattle

MBAKS members and staff partner with the Seattle-based nonprofit Rebuilding Together Seattle to give low-income families much-needed repairs to their homes via unique projects that really make an everyday difference. Even if you’re not handy, you can still lend a helping hand!
