The state legislature continues to hear and act on bills in advance of the February 22 committee cutoff date. Most committees have only one or two remaining meetings to act on pending legislation. Fortunately, association priority legislation, including short plat changes, completeness review, and condo liability reform, have already passed this threshold.

Priorities that still need action to stay alive include minimum density legislation and accessory dwelling unit changes. And while we’ve enjoyed success moving bills in the state senate, companion legislation in the house remains problematic.
