On November 1, several beneficial changes to Snohomish County’s Engineering Design and Development Standards (EDDS) go into effect. After several weeks of discussion and working with County staff, public notice and comment period requirements have been met, allowing the new standards to advance.

Areas where changes were made include object height, trenches, allowing sidewalks in easements, design speed, elbow intersections, stopping sight distance, and more. Access the full language.
