Marysville City Council Approves Increases to School Impact Fees

The Marysville City Council has approved updates to the Capital Facilities Plans (CFPs) of the school districts serving the city. School District CFPs are reviewed and adopted on a biennial basis.

Marysville, Lake Stevens, and Lakewood School Districts all serve Marysville and will have their 2020–2025 CFPs considered. Marysville School District impact fees will remain at $0.00. However, there are substantial increases to the Lake Stevens and Lakewood fees. Lake Stevens’ single-family fee increases by $2,553; duplexes and townhomes increase by $4,160; and multifamily of two or more bedroom units increase by $4,160, as well. Lakewood has increases of $2,719 to single-family, $445 for multifamily studio and one-bedroom, and a decrease of $381 for multifamily of two-bedroom or more. View the staff report and fee changes.
