Snohomish County released online its 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update growth alternatives this week and made a general presentation to our DBIC group. Included in the production is Future Land Use Maps that capture the three growth alternatives. Those alternatives include a “no change” option (required by law), a medium growth plan and a high growth plan. County staff has been working on this project for over two years and MBAKS has been commenting on the various elements included in the plan along the way. Next steps include open houses, Planning Commission hearings and ultimately County Council hearings and adoption. The online information including maps is available here. You will be able to enter parcel numbers to learn the proposed designation of specific properties.
