PSRC Approves Arlington-Marysville Industrial Center Designation

The Puget Sound Regional Council’s (PSRC) Executive Board has unanimously approved the Arlington-Marysville industrial center designation. Going forward, the area will be known as the Cascade Industrial Center.

The approval allows access to federal grants for investments and infrastructure in the area. The cities of Arlington and Marysville have been working toward the designation for 10 years. Your association has written to the PSRC in support of the designation. It is estimated the designation could bring 12,000 more jobs to the area—and the housing demand that goes with them.
