This week the Snohomish County Council unanimously passed MBAKS priority legislation related to lot coverage increases. The Council also adopted an amendment making the ordinance apply retroactively to existing applications. Key changes include:
Townhouse Zone:            35% to 50% Lot Coverage
LDMR Zone:                    30% to 50% Lot Coverage
MR Zone:                         40% to 50% Lot Coverage
PRD’s in LDMR and MR: 55% Lot Coverage
Typically ordinances take approximately 20 days before becoming law accounting for time to transmit to the Executive for signature and publishing requirements. Read the ordinance and entire hearing packet. Please contact with any questions.
