Covington Council Adopts 2023 Legislative Priorities, Supports Policies to Increase Housing Supply

On Tuesday, November 8, the Covington City Council adopted their 2023 Legislative Priorities and Policies document, outlining the city’s goals for state and federal legislative changes in the year ahead. In addition to their pending transportation funding requests and public safety and policing laws, Covington will ask that legislators work with cities to identify ways to diversify housing options and promote missing middle housing, including revising condominium liability regulations, reducing construction costs, and providing tax incentives.
