Mason Thompson
Mayor, City of Bothell
Mayor Thompson has previously served as the Chair of the Parks & Recreation Board and on the Capital Facilities Planning Committee. He is also a member of the Executive Committee for the Sierra Club Washington State. Mason graduated from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington and currently works for a software company. He enjoys using his bicycle as transportation to and from his home in Queensgate where he lives with his wife and two children.
Allan Ekberg
Mayor, City of Tukwila
Mayor Allan Ekberg was sworn in as Tukwila’s 20th mayor in January 2016. Prior to then, he served on the Tukwila City Council from 1990 to 1997 and 2010 to 2015 as well as served on the Tukwila Planning Commission (2003-2009). Prior to taking office, Mayor Ekberg was an Internet technology project/program manager and served in the United States Air Force. He serves on Puget Sound Regional Council’s Executive Board. He also serves on the boards of these non-profits: Tukwila Children’s Foundation, Still Waters: Services for Families in Transition, and the Sullivan Center.
