Featured Speaker

Senator Jesse Salomon
32nd Legislative District
Senator Jesse Salomon has represented Washington's 32nd Legislative District, which comprises part of north King County and south Snohomish County, since 2019.
In his time as a state senator, Sen. Salomon has sponsored legislation removing barriers to the creation of housing of all types. He serves as chair of the Senate Local Government Committee and is an active member on the Housing Committee. He is focused on increasing the supply of housing through zoning change as well as regulatory reform. He has successfully authored and passed bills to decrease the regulatory hurdles of SEPA when it comes to housing. Frequently engaging with planners and builders, he endeavors to come up with the most streamlined approach to creating more housing supply and decreasing costs, recognizing the immutable laws of supply and demand.
His goal is to continuously learn about regulations to right-size them in order to make sure that we preserve our quality of life, but make changes to dated regulations so that we can dramatically increase housing supply.
