WELCOME TO THE NEW MBAKS.COM!

Bringing Color, Dignity, And Care

Since 2003, MBAKS members and volunteers have gathered each November to refresh nonprofit facilities across King and Snohomish counties. A fresh coat of paint helps create welcoming, uplifting spaces for clients and allows nonprofits to direct more of their limited resources to mission-driven work.

Changing Communities One Brushstroke at a Time

Painting a Better Tomorrow, or PBT, is a one-day event that brings MBAKS members and community volunteers together to paint a local service organization’s facility. Frequently, the first maintenance item to be removed from an operational budget is painting, so many of our recipients have gone years without this much-needed improvement.

Since 2003, we have painted hundreds of thousands of square feet for area service organizations. Past recipients include nonprofits working to eliminate poverty, special education programs, and more, across King and Snohomish counties.

  • When: Annually in November

  • Who We Help: Nonprofits serving vulnerable populations.

  • How Members Contribute: Donate labor, paint, and materials to transform community spaces in a single day.
