As a shareholder, Rick has a diverse clientele base. He specializes in providing federal and state tax consulting services to high net worth individuals as well as closely held businesses. Rick represents firms in the construction, real estate, and manufacturing industries. He also represents clients before the IRS regarding penalty abatement, delinquent return filings, offers-in-compromise, and installment agreement negotiations.
An eclectic person, Rick restores and ride old motorcycles and has adopted several stray cats, earning he and his wife the title “crazy cat people” in their neighborhood.
Jordan Thayer
Portfolio Manager and Financial Advisor, Morgan Stanley
Jordan's six-person team specializes in growing individual families’ wealth, assisting small businesses with employee retirement plans, and helping liquid cash work more efficiently. Jordan grew up with a financial advisor father and entered the industry in early 2008; he learned every lesson the following two years had to offer concerning risk. An officer in the Marine Corps Reserves, he is currently the Company Commander for Engineer Services Company, Combat Logistics Battalion-23 in Springfield, OR.
Outside of work, he and his wife Julie enjoy sailing, home improvement projects, and watching their 2-year old Grace grow up before their eyes. His most rewarding job besides growing client money is being a good dad to his little girl.
Kartika Thornbrew
Pacific Northwest Regional Director, Vanguard Retirement Plan Access
Kartika specializes in partnering with plan sponsors and financial professionals in establishing a comprehensive suite of services for defined contribution retirement plans under $20 million. Previously, she worked in both sales and marketing roles supporting the growth of Vanguard's defined contribution retirement plan business; Vanguard is one of the world's largest investment companies.
Outside of work, Kartika enjoys, hiking, traveling, musical theater, and spending time with her husband and three dogs. Kartika earned her BSBA in marketing from Northern Arizona University and her MBA through St. Joseph's University.
