Getting Your GRIP on Claims, Comp & Safety

10:30 a.m.–12 p.m.

You will be provided with strategies and tools necessary to be successful in the GRIP retrospective rating program. Industry experts will address keeping your workplace safe, keeping control of your workers' comp claims, and how to best reduce your workers' comp costs in the future. This is a great training for companies new to the group, as well as a refresher for established participants. Training is provided by Employer Resources Northwest (ERNwest), the third-party administrator of the GRIP program.

Return to Work—It's Easier Than You Think

12:30–2 p.m.

Once thought to be more pain that it's worth, returning an injured employee back to the workplace is the single most effective thing you can do to control a claim once it's been filed and to reduce the expense of that claim to your business. ERNwest's Return to Work (RTW) experts will discuss the benefits of RTW, the process of bringing an injured worker back, and how to integrate a RTW program into your company. Come prepared with your RTW questions as we talk about the many misconceptions surrounding RTW and just how simple it can be.
