Become a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead. If your project disturbs more than one acre of land or is in a subdivision, you probably need to have a CESCL. A CESCL is trained to inspect, install, and manage stormwater controls on your site. Because Ecology requires CESCL to be on-call at all times, most companies will need more than one trained and available.
Designed for residential builders, this two-day class will cover the most-asked builder questions, including what BMPs perform best on construction sites, how to keep those BMPs working, what red flags signal erosion problems, and how to effectively work with local and state inspectors.
This certification is good for three years.
Online CESCL Info: You will receive the online class meeting info and a book link the day before the start of class. It will be sent to the email you use during registration. To receive your CESCL card and credit for the class, you must sign in for the fully scheduled class time and complete the test at the end.
