MBAKS held our annual Snohomish County Elected Officials Reception on Wednesday, June 17 at Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo. The event drew elected officials and other local leaders from throughout the County and gave us a chance to thank them for their leadership and willingness to work alongside us on behalf of housing.

Here, members can swap industry knowledge, build thriving business partnerships, or lend a helping hand. The event featured remarks from special guest Redmond Mayor Angela Birney, who highlighted steps the city has taken to expand housing choices. Redmond has been working to lower barriers to the full spectrum of homes needed to meet residents’ needs as the city grows and to leverage its access to light rail.
